All estimates are good for 30 days. High Mountain Pergolas and Pavilions a dba of LW Design, LLC requires a 50% downpayment and a signed estimate before any work can begin. Progress invoices may be sent during the duration of the project at any time based on work completed. Our terms are Net 15 days, a past due invoice will be subject to a finance charge of 24% per annum. Cancelled orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee and payment on work completed. There are no refunds on work performed.  

• Material Disclaimer and Specs: It is understood that shrinking, cracking, twisting, and movement are natural characteristics of timber. High Mountain Pergolas and Pavilions a dba of LW Design, LLC is in no way responsible or has any control over the natural effects in the aging process of timber. If this is a concern please ask for an explanation of the differences in quality. High Mountain Pergolas and Pavilions uses the highest quality available timber (#1 or Better Douglas Fir, Free Of Heart Center), by using lower quality timber you are increasing the likelihood of changes in the wood. High Mountain Pergolas and Pavilions has no control over, and is not responsible for delays caused by backordered material. More lead time will ensure the job is not interrupted due to materials. Some material sizes can take up to 120 days to acquire.  

• Design: Design is based on drawings provided to High Mountain Pergolas and Pavilions a dba of LW Design, LLC. If design drawings are not provided, the customer will incur design and engineering costs. If High Mountain Pergolas and Pavilions deems a design to be structurally flawed, solutions may be offered. Any major redesign will add cost and delays to your project. High Mountain Pergolas and Pavilions a dba of LW Design, LLC is not a professional engineer, therefore, if your timber project has structural elements engineering will be required. If engineering is not provided High Mountain Pergolas and Pavilions can outsource engineering to provide a stamped set of timber drawings for your project at an additional cost to the customer.
